only a couple of days left before I go to the needlework fair, YAY! I must say I’m in full fair-mode. I prepared a list of things I need with colour choices and sizes (mainly Grigoletto linens and ThreadworX pearl cotton threads for the Brodierie Suisse projects); things I reserved and things I want to take a look at in person; things I hope to find at a better price; ..
I also wrote down a few stand numbers so that I can orientate a little better. thursday might be a bit more crowded than I expected, nevertheless I will be there cause I signed up for a Broderie Suisse course with Maria Concetta Ronchetti/Antichi Ricami. there are Stitching Olympics contests as well, with two races for the fastest stitcher every day and a final champion announced at the end of the fair. now I will pass on this cause I can’t stay long enough for the second round, while as the first one is taking place I’ll still be driving to the fair. even so, I thought it was a pretty cool idea, you can read a little about it here.
now off to the patty cake 🙂
yes, I was the last living soul on Earth to see Despicable Me, which I loved by the way.

Great post as always, Chiara. I love, love, love the cute buttons and the cake dish is divine! Just going to hop on a plane and come over and “borrow” them for a while! lol! I might bring Taras Babba home with me for a visit with Furio and Milo, too. He would love Eaglemont.
Love to you both, Kaye xoxoxo
