April stitching goals

well aware of the lameness of my previous post, let me make it up to you by writing a monthly goals recap. how exciting! 😛

March stitching goals:

  • finish L*K‘s ’13 mystery Holly & Hearts (2nd part started)  —> 🔘 NO 😦
  • stitch I Love My Home by Little House Needleworks in order to use the last space in the linen band I prepared for the L*K H&H ornaments assuming there would be three —> ☑️ YES! 😀
  • stitch the third part of Story Time Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, Sherlock Holmes + stitch all the frames (-1 for every row, colour check needed) —> 🔘 NO 😦
  • start and finish Alice in Wonderland by SODA Stitch + stitch some sections separately to make a matching scissor fob & pincushion  —> ☑️ YES! sort of 😀
  • finish sewing the Downton Abbey duvet cover —> 🔘 NO 😦

what happened was that I stitched Alice and would have finished her if I hadn’t got carried away with the scissor fob armada and the new, HD Alice. so for the next month I’m narrowing things down to a couple of things; let’s see if I manage to mess it up anyways. 😉

April stitching goals:

  • finish Alice in Wonderland by SODA Stitch using solid DMC threads
  • stitch the remaining scissor fobs in the scissor fob armada using Mo’s Sale hand dyed threads (I have room for 2 and 1/2 more)
  • stitch the 3rd and 4th part of Story Time Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, Sherlock Holmes and Wizard of Oz
  • work on whatever Garrett and I decide to do with our SODAs SAL
  • in case we decide to postpone this to next month, finish L*K‘s ’13 mystery Holly & Hearts (2nd part started)
